i think it was cool of Paris to defend The Jonas Brothers. I love the fact that they didn't get all pissy about it like Jordan Sparks by saying,

if you saw John Legend next to her i think he was showing his hands and i didn't see one so yeah. i mean yeah she was defending the promise rings and The Jonas Brothers, but come on now. it's Russell Brand, he says stuff like that, that's how he is. he aint doing it to be harshly rude, it's just what he does. now me, my cuz & sister own promise rings and were offended by Jordan Sparks comment. it's like what so what are you saying that i was a slut before i bought one. just because you don't feel the need to wear them to prove your gonna wait doesn't make you a slut. i knew i was gonna wait before i got the ring, and me not having one wasn't gonna change that. im not getting all pissy, if you could see my face it would look calm as can be. but i do think maybe she should think before she speaks, because there are other people who do get pissy over things like that and might be offended by what she might say in the future.

I think it is really great that the jonas brothers wear purity rings. I dont really understand the point in wearing one though... but that is their personal buisness and many other teens. I was also reading some of the comments and I wanted to say that the JB arent advertising their rings, i mean all they've really said is a breif statement about their purity rings. How is that so bad? Its not like their saying 'oh, every one should get one too' They just want to be different and want people to see that they treat women with respect. Oh and i also want to say that people should relax over the russel brand jokes, if the jonas brothers can laugh about it then we should be able to too.

for everyone saying that the Jonas Brothers should have kept the "purity" thing to themselves, dont you think they've tried that? they mentioned it once, and every magazine and gossip column had to talk about it over and over again. EVERY interview they have, they get asked the same question. In one interview in particular, they even said they didn't want to discuss it, its a personal matter and they were there to talk about the music.
I'm so sick of people bashing them just because they're trying to stand up for morals in a morally declining world. I'm a fan of the Jonas Brothers, i'm not some tween, i'm 19. there not some disney band, they were a band WAY before Hollywood records signed them. Disney just helped boost there career and make oppurtunities for them. Just like MTV or VH1 does for artists. its not a big deal. Its sick how people like to pick on them for no reason at all.
